Songs of Victory Part 2 – The Wonderful Cross

Our thoughts turn to “the wonderful cross” on which the King of Glory died. The week ahead of us is what we commonly call “passion week”. It is representative of the final week of Jesus on earth in His earthly body. Also, today is considered to be “Palm Sunday”, this is representative of Jesus triumphal entry into Jerusalem, hailed and worshipped as King. Then only a few days later, they were crying out for His crucifixion. When we consider this week, we can’t help but declare victory!!! Jesus suffered and died on the cruel cross of Calvary. He gave His life in exchange for mine. He paid for my sin on that cross. That is Victory!!!
